The Beautiful Chord reflects on the interconnected relationship between individual experience and collective belonging. The work explores the idea that we are shaped not only by our own histories, but also by the shared memories, energies and systems that connect us to one another.
I am interested in the ways collective consciousness is formed through relationships, communities and acts of exchange. When individuals come together, personal experiences begin to intersect, creating spaces for empathy, support and transformation. The work considers how these shared connections can become a source of resilience and possibility.
Central to my practice is an ongoing exploration of the body as a site of memory and connection. Here, I reflect on the invisible threads that bind us together and the ways in which individual and collective experiences continually shape one another.
Through organic forms and material experimentation, The Beautiful Chord invites contemplation on our interconnected relationship with ourselves, each other and the wider world, proposing community, belonging and collective care as essential foundations for renewal and transformation.
